Try a tiny route-planning model
A standalone Mathematics teaser, separate from the future game.
9 minutes = 180 metres ÷ 20 metres/minute.
Rounded to two decimal places. Assumes constant speed with no stops or terrain delays.
Understand here. Apply out there.
Study Lab supports understanding, visual reasoning and practice. Beyond Earth is the future exploration experience: a rover route, a resource decision or a research mission would give mathematical ideas a meaningful job to do.
A mission needs a reason
Rather than unrelated quizzes, the vision is a story-driven environment where concepts connect to actions. Planning a rover journey, for example, calls for reasoning about distance, speed and time. Foundation help should remain available when a concept is unfamiliar.
What is—and isn’t—available
The full adventure is not playable. The existing signed-in Beyond Earth scene is a coming-soon preview. There is no announced launch date, published gameplay availability or claimed student outcome. The small route model here is a standalone public Mathematics teaser, not gameplay.
Learning comes first
A reliable Mathematics foundation, provider permission and authorized student evaluation come before full game development. We want exploration to support real understanding, rather than offer a decorative reward for remembering an answer.
